Training phish

Computer geeks have a quite easy time recognizing most phish with a quick look. We’ve seen a lot of email and a lot of URLs. We’ve self-trained over the years to immediately get a feel for what’s “normal” and what’s “not normal”.

And then all of a sudden, you’re suspicious of your own pineapple cake bar:

I’m glad the candy I was having as a kid didn’t have URLs like http://0492292899.tw.tranews.com on it.

How will people growing up in a world where this is normal ever develop the right reflexes and heuristics to keep themselves from being phished?
