This blog will capture my interests in technology usability. In particular, I’m looking into how lack of usability exposes us to danger (identity theft, PC becoming member of a botnet etc). In this sense, lack of usability is counter-productive to the security of complex systems. Lack of usability may also reduce the role of technology as an enabler, resulting instead in technology that alienates, frustrates and finally oppresses people.
